You'll love the M&P9. I've got the 40 with a 40C as its companion. You'll find the pistol easier to conceal than the 15. Gotcha beat on dogs - 3 Black Labs & 1 Clumber Spaniel plus 1 cat, maybe 2 by Christmas. Two Daughters & 2 grandsons - all in the same house!

Well, picked her up and I'm in love so far. Hopefully can make it out to the range this afternoon and give her a try. I don't carry so not worried about concealing. 1 Wife, 3 dogs and 5 cats now (1 kicked it a few months back). All in about 900sq.ft.

Your title scared me, thought this was going to be an "end of the world" post! Glad you got your M&P. Mine is excellent, a 2006 version, bought it used. I'm the type that can't leave well enough alone and I put a few Apex Tactical parts in. Makes a nice upgrade. I guess I go by the motto: "If it's not broke, fix it"!

Well, just got back from the range and I could not be happier! Threw 100rds at her and she gobbled them up and spit them out without fail. Felt really nice and the trigger was better than I was expecting.

I have very little experience with pistols. Shot an old browning hi-power a bit but not much. Most of my experience is with a revolver. S&W Model 19-5 .357 to be exact. And that isn't a whole lot either.

1st target was at about 7 yards, standing.

2nd target was same distance, but shot from bench with rest.

Not sure the order of the pics but you can tell which is which. Sights seem to be fine though.
