Tony Romo...Or how to beat up on a Cowboy fan

Naw, yer good kozmic.
I can and do understand how folks hate on the Boys.
Really, the whole "Americas Team" thing sticks in my craw too, worse yet when they haven't won a Superbowl in 18 years and the announcers keep playing the tune.

The best way to stop the haters is to win, and my Boys sure don't seem capable with Capt. Hazelwood at the helm.

Coulda lived with the "America's team" chant....it was that whole "God's team" thing that made me puke. Hated 'em since!

Oh yeah, that and Jones is a bit of a ****stain of course.

Well,... while the announcers do seem ready to rush down on the field and give the Dallas Q B a big kiss, as someone here has already stated,..... that praise seems to pale, compared to all the praise they are giving the other guy,..the one that can obviously walk on water, and by himself has saved all of; not only the Redskins, but all of D.C. as well.

I agree that the most significant stupid decision was heading off on break with GF just before playoff game - which he lost. Such dedication! Can't imagine Roger Staubach being that undisciplined, nor Vince Lombardi allowing it. But, "as a being is, so it acts".

Meanwhile the Seahawks cruise to another home win. I wonder if they can win on the road now?
They seem to be still in the "who is going to show up" mode. The last 3 games, they showed up and today it was pathetic and lucky to get a win. Don't know how they'll do against what Washington did to Dallas tonight but it should be interesting for one side at least. Just not sure who will come out on top. The network should love it as they can play up the two rookie quarterbacks story.

I am a huge Romo and Jerry Jones fan! I root for the Steelers and anyone who plays the Cowgirls or Raiders. If Dallas and Oakland play I root for a tie and career ending injuries!:D

The '79 Steelers and the '81 49ers were absolutely god-like teams. Nobody spanked a Cowboy like those teams (at least when the Cowboy wasn't on Brokeback Mountain).

:D

I'm not a Dallas fan but with the media focused on them every year, it makes people (outside of TX) want to hate them. The attention and expectations for a team in the spotlight kinda ruins the underdog story as the media will always expect them to win.

Then there's the Thanksgiving games. They get national attention at home which is a pretty big advantage.

I don't really care one way or the other for Romo. He's been quiet in his career, ie. no drunk driving, smoking pot, etc. I can respect that. I do question Romo fans as they place the elite tag on him and put him on a pedestal along with the likes of Brady, Manning and Rodgers.

Please don't mention Roger Staubach in the same post as whats-his-name.

It's my fault they lost

I didn't watch the game. Everytime I do they win, when I don't watch thet loose.

I've only seen a few games this years.---SORRY !

Hey - It Could Be Worse!

Romo could be Da Bears' QB :(
OTOH - Playing without a defensive line could put him out of pro ball giving an actual pro a chance.....

Winning is not important. It's all about how you play the game. Tony has a high level of honest sportsmanship and integerity.
