Too Many Customer Satisfaction Surveys

Opposite end of the spectrum is entering a website and immediately encountering an offer via pop up with a code for X% off your first order before ever having a chance to determine if the site is even worth the visit.

No compensation = No review, Of course I also ask some car salesmen how much they are going to pay me to get some cars off their lot.

I quit answering surveys. When you respond to one, they tell all their buddys to pounce on you; Kinda like opposing lawyers having lunch together.

When I get outstanding service and/or a great product I'll do the surveys. Otherwise, not. It's not like they're gonna make any major changes. Product reviews are as bad. I did a product review for a product whose performance was horrible. That review stayed up less than 36 hours.

Medicine is just another facet of our lives being taken over by corporate suits. The local major-for a small city-hospital is pretty much a facility that leases space/services to specialist medical groups. Maybe it limits their liability?

I will answer one if a person explains to me that their raises and ranking depend on the surveys and that 10 is the only acceptable rating. Unsolicited surveys are answered only if the purchase was over $1000.

I lie on most of the surveys that show up in my inbox.
I lie on ALL political surveys that show up.
I fill out and tell the truth on the JITB surveys; I get free food for my effort.

This is rather dated but when I worked for Cabela's pre Bass Pro they took customer surveys very seriously as a way to improve customer service. After I left there I did have a rather minor issue I mentioned in a survey and the store manager contacted me almost immediately to resolve it completely to my satisfaction.

I have also completed medical care surveys with minor issues and received almost immediate responsive and prompt resolution of the issue mentioned.

I complete them, the first time for that service. After that I only complete "if" there is something to to actually say. And, yes, I have been contacted to find out why I gave a negative rating.

Many years ago I bought a new truck from a dealer I had not done business with before. They offered $25 in cash if you would bring the survey to them unmarked by you. They said they would turn it in!;)
