I took my CHIP 4006TSW and my NYPD 5946 to the range today.

Report as follows:

9mm started with Norma 115gr FMJ, about 15 shots. Meh. I forgot what loading this pistol likes better. Switched to Freedom Munitions 124gr FMJ Remanufactured. Oh yeah. Sweet spot. About 25 shots. Indoors. 25 feet.

40 S&W 165gr Privi Partizan FMJ. 25 shots. Same conditions.

As stated before, very happy with these pistols. I wish I was aware how good they are BITD when I had Glocks, Sigs, Walthers, HKs, etc.

Of them all, I have 2 (modern not collectible) Walthers left. The rest are gone.

I now have 10 3rd Generation pistols, and a 469.

Yep.

PS - the small caliber holes are not from me. I recycled some targets from the Bullseye match last night. since the range is having a hard time getting the usual ones.

Also, the grip on the 4006TSW isn't worn, that's from the flash of the phone when I took the pic.

Great shooting Quikdraw! And good for you for recycling some targets. When I go to the range I always take a couple out of the trash that can easily be recycled with a little bit of masking tape. Love the title of the thread too. Sounds like you took a couple old cops out for some brewskies!
