Well I finally got to take the SW357V out to the range today.
I am very pleased with the accuracy and function.
It is a lot more accurate than I thought it would be and the
recoil felt less than a 40S&W round to me.
Of course there were no failures and I really liked the trigger pull.
I am going to use it as my primary carry gun.
Can't sneeze at 14+1 357 Sig rounds in a nice light package.

Now that's what I'm talkin about!

Great attitude, great gun, no whining about the trigger and no talk of modifying a gun that functions perfectly from the get-go!!

Hell yes!

I have heard a lot of complaints of the trigger pull on the sigmas.
But the trigger pull on this one is smooth and around 7 LBs.
Of course I would like a 5 LB trigger pull but at 7LBs it is close enough.

was it bought new? if not they probably already took the one spring out to bring it down to 7lbs. the Sigma triggers had 2 springs in them, alot of people removed the one to get a lighter pull

357 sigma

I bought one a few years ago but haven't fired it yet.

Does anyone know how many were made and when?

thx

They were made 1998-1999. Not sure how many. I would guess less than 3000.

From Smith and Wesson via email. I asked the manufacture date on my 357sig and how many were made. They informed me only 1500 barrels were produced and that not all of them were sold as complete units. Some were sold as replacements for the 40 and 9.

That explains why I can't find one.Still looking......

Glad yours shot well and you enjoyed it.
