I try to shoot mine as often as possible. Actually thinking of getting a 2nd one for a backup. They are great little shooters once you practice alot with them
I was surprised with the accuracy. It shot where I aimed. I grew up shooting mostly pistols and usually shoot a revolver to the left. I did not have that problem with this one. Like I said above, I'm very pleased with it.

Glad you like the way your 642 shoots for you. These J frames can be very accurate. The second time I took my 442-2 out to the range to try Speer 135+P SB Gold Dots, it put 4 out of 5 in 1" off hand at 7 yards slow fire about 1" above POA. The accuracy is there if you practice with them. Enjoy yours!! The Speer load is a great one for these guns.

I like my 642 a lot. I had a model 37 but one of my detective friends traded me a brand new Walther ppk/s for it. I have never carried it. My bug has always been a snubby. I like my 642 LadySmith a lot since I have retired. it is my new carry gun instead of my .45
