My previous doc asked me if there was a gun in my home and I replied "no".
There's more than one so I don't consider it to be untruthful.
It's none of their business and I resent being asked by a doctor about it, doctors kill more than guns do, especially my guns.

In the last 7 months, I have been advised to visit one of two Doctor's offices on a very regular basis. On the first visit to each, while the technition gets your weight, height, takes the blood preasure, temperature and so forth, I asked if they were squeamish? Asked why, and then I unloaded what ever was in voque that day, stepped on the scales, and once off, restored my personal carry. After several such visits, found there was interest concerning what I would be carrying that day. Was asked, and I explained how with minimum covering clothing, a small pocket semi .380 auto or a ankle carry for a Model 60 three inch brl .357 was best, but when season was such to not draw attention with more clothes, my preferance was a snub .44 special in a shoulder rig. No one seemed to be bothered by this, but one of the Doctors did ask why I felt it necessary to be armed? After some time spent in an explanation, he asked what I would recommend for him to get and carry. I gave him my personal idea, and he later joined the NRA, and does now carry also.
