I finally picked up my new SW22 Victory yesterday. Stripped it down to clean in order to make it ready for it's first visit to the range. The only complaint I have is the recoil spring. It's somewhat of a pain to get it back into place. Otherwise then that I'll post my thoughts on how it shoots after taking it to the range.

Just heard of these. What's the MSRP on one ?
Will they function with standard velocity ammo?
I have a couple of the Ruger MK series pistols and
Love them. Let us know what you think when you
get to shoot it.

Owned one for a while now and love it. I hope you have the same experience as well. The recoil spring can be a pita at first but you get used to it.

Kidcom don't keep us hanging, how did the range session go and pics as always would be nice. They finally arrived in my area as well for $569.00 each.

Barrie, I picked up mine at William's Arms in Port Perry for $565CDN ($430US).

Must be a chunk of import duty attached to the gun in Canada because the street price in US is below $400.

Chud333: I shot mine yesterday with CCI Standard Velocity and it ran just fine. I tried Norma Tac22 in it previously and the first round failed to extract but the following 9 rounds ran perfectly.

YMMV

Yes they really nail us to the wall on anything imported into Canada from the US. Here in London Ont. This same gun is selling for $569.00 at the retail level at one of our only 2 FFL's. Its highway robbery I will tell you.

Finally I was able to take the Victory to the range last Saturday. The pics speak for themselves in that it is an excellent shooter. Now I have to admit that at my age the old eyesight isn't what it use to be so the targets where at 10meters from my shooting position. Still a great shooter.

They even nail you on stuff imported from England, which surprised me. I worked in Toronto for a few weeks and was shopping in a bookstore there. Found a book that was printed in England, and it two prices on it, US and Canadian, and the Canadian price was higher!

"and the Canadian price was higher!"

We live with this daily!
