Tough choice

Never cared for Hendrix. I liked most of Princes stuff growing up. Michael Jackson’s music never did much for me. But he IS the king of pop….., as long as we’re throwing around names , I always thought Aerosmith was grossly overrated. AC/DC is where it’s at.

While I still listen to 60s and the early 70s music I consider all of the big names as vastly over rated.
All performers can do some things that are good but overall nobody stands out as "great".

He was one sick puppy. "I SAW MOMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS", which they play a lot on the radio at that festive time.

I often think of very popular and well known singers and musicians and the bitter/sweet lives they lead. Most of us when we pass on are remembered by family and friends and when they are gone we are pretty much forgotten. Famous singers and their music will live on for countless years, and that's pretty cool. However, a lot of them have issues and things that happen and that will be remembered also. Like some of them take their own lives and do other things that they wish could be forgotten.

A friend at work and I are in a quandary- We're trying to decide which Michael Jackson song is the WORST- The problem is that they're all SO bad we can't settle on the WORST!!

Sounds as if you answered your own question by agreeing with your friend in that they are all tied for worst place.

Michael Jackson was a talented kid who was exploited, used, and abused, grew into a truly strange adult (no surprise), and lived a tortured, miserable life that none of us would wish on our worst enemy. For all his money and fame, I doubt he was ever truly happy...

He's been gone for almost 16 years...why are we making fun of him on here? Don't we have anything better to talk about? :(
