I am looking to trade my 28-2 Highway Patrolman with a 4" barrel for something a little smaller. It is a 6 shot, N frame, with a 4 inch barrel. Based on the serial number it was made in 1969. The barrel is pinned and cylinder is recessed. The action on this gun is amazing. Double action is smooth, and single action is as light as a feather. It comes with original S & W walnut target grips (in very nice shape) as well as a set of Pachmayr grips. This is a really nice gun! I'm looking to trade for a K/L frame in .357 Mag. with a 2 to 3 inch barrel (model 686, 586, 19, etc...). I'd also consider another N frame if it had a 2 inch barrel.
