-TRADED PENDING TRANSFER - COLT MK IV SERIES 70 GOV'T MODEL & FACTORY CONVERSION UNIT
TRADED PENDING TRANSFER
I would like to keep both items together.
Colt 1911 Government Model Mark IV Series 70 with blue finish, 5" barrel, .45ACP, original factory grips and magazine, original box and Instruction Manual. The original collet bushing is included in the box - the gun has a solid bushing installed. The manual has a pencil inscription on the cover, "FEB - 21 - 1975" which we assume is the original owner's purchase date. The magazine is marked, "COLT .45 AUTO." on the floor plate. The one piece cardboard box has scuff marks and the back flap is no longer attached. The two piece styrofoam insert is in excellent condition with minor handling marks. The gun is a strong 98% no known issues. Serial Number 70G783XX.
The Colt .22 Caliber Conversion Unit has a blue finish, the infamous Floating Chamber and adjustable ACCRO Rear Sight. Included are the original two piece box (with two tape marks), original factory wax paper, blank registration card with attached instructions, four page owner's manual (Form A217 dated 5/67) and an order card for .22 autoloader rifles. The slide assembly includes Fixed Front Sight, adjustable Colt ACCRO Rear Sight, Firing Pin, Firing Pin Spring, Firing Pin Stop. Also in the kit are the original Barrel, Floating Chamber, Extractor, Recoil Spring, Slide Stop and Magazine. The mag is marked, "COLT CAL. 22 L.R." Extra items include a Barrel Bushing, Recoil Spring Guide and Plug. I rate this kit a strong 98% with no known issues.
Asking $1500 for the gun and conversion kit. FTF in Illinois. Will ship out of state from my FFL to Yours.
Will consider serious counter offers and trades. I'm not looking for anything particular for a trade. Let me know what you have and we can discuss possibilities.
