This is a rebuilt 1948 5 screw K-38 Masterpiece in 38 Special. This is THE iconic S&W target revolver that become the Model 14. Target hammer, target trigger, adj target sights, trued yoke/ejector rod, extractor timed to new hand, rebarreled with new 6" factory barrel, new extractor, fitted hand, fitted cylinder stop, cylinder exit holes honed and uniformed at .358, and a superb SA/DA trigger. Currently wearing Bill Davis rubber match grips; other grips included are rubber Pachmayr, rubber Hogue, and modern wood S&W factory target grips. Ceracote fine film coating. All major work done by AMU, trade school, and S&W factory-trained master gunsmiths.
Great DA/SA revolver for self defense, hunting, or target shooting. Legal for Distinguished Revolver competition. Approx 500 wadcutter rounds since rebuild. Shoots like a dream. Finish worn in usual places.
WTT for 9mm H&K VP9SK or SIG P320SC with white dot or night sights. Nice to get spare mags, holster, if available.
