I just got back from the concert they held at Rupp Arena here in Lexington. The music, story and light show cannot be matched my anyone I have ever seen. It is one of those shows you just need to see before you die. It's that good!

Great music! I have all their albums. I have seen them a few times live.

An ex of mine is a big fan. We went to a few of their Christmas shows when they came to the area. Pretty good stuff.

The one year we picked seats directly in line with the stage, but as far back and up as you could... they use flames shooting up from the stage in their show and we could feel them all the way back there!

Don't know what Savatage are up to (or if they are still around) but Chris Caffery (one of the guitarists from TSO had a CD out last year) as did Jon Oliva's Pain.
Very inter-woven (incestuous?) bunch of musicians in the TSO/Savatage/Dr Butcher/Circle II Circle family.
