Transitional 28-2??

I have a non pinned 28-2 with recessed cylinders. Are these common? The gun is in near new condition. I’m going to sell it, how does this effect it’s value?

Your gun "is" pinned.
Your just not seeing it....look closer.
I see the pin in your picture.

Even by the serial number it isn't even close to transitional

Not uncommon. Probably not much impact on value, maybe detracts a bit from the buyer looking for P&R. Looks very nice, should sell fairly quickly in the $800ish (without box/papers) $1000ish with; at least it would where I shop. Good luck,
