Transitional Magnum Letter Received Today

After about 4.5 months the letter for my Transitional Magnum came today. Seen previously on this forum the revolver was purchased at a sheriff's auction for $475.

Made for the Kansas State Patrol. This is interesting. Are there any armory markings on the gun? Maybe you could follow up with that at the Kansas Historical Sociey archives.

Believe these are the grips you are looking for. I had thought they would have been large medallions instead of small. I'm no expert, 410bore is the resident grip guru so he may have more info.
