Traveling to tennessee...

Greetings all,
I am headed to Tenn. in a couple of weeks and plan to stop at some gun/pawn shops. Can some tell me if there any restrictions for out of state Firearms purchases?
I do have a C&R for those finds.

You may purchase a handgun, but if you live outside of TN, you must have it transferred to an FFL in your home state and pick it up from him.

You can purchase a long gun and take it with you, as long as the gun is legal in your state.
