Here are some pics of my latest trip to one of my lgs. I went a little overboard, but had to save these poor orphans.I have a WTB looking for original grips, and some paperwork.
A very nice 27-2 blued 3.5 orig box, papers, sealed tools, sadly no orig grips, and she is shy about how big these grips make her butt look. Also a 98% 66-1 2.5 no accessories, and lastly a 99% 4506, orig box, sealed tools, 5 magazines, no paperwork.
I know the 4506 does not belong here, and I might post her up where she belongs, but I wanted to show them together as an adopted family.

You done real good. What style grips are on the 27?

The grips on the 27-2 I believe are Sile thumbrest target grips. The only marking is made in Italy stamped in the left panel, machine inletted with wooden upper locating buttons no metal washer. Since the label has an s in the grips section I know I need magnas, I think non diamond as she is 1968-1969 I think.

SHOW OFF! I would be proud myself! I consider myself lucky when I find 1 nice one. I had a target set of grips on my 28 for a while. (not the same ones) UGLY! ..... but it sure fit in my hand, and shot it well with them. Bob
