I am considering a trigger stop for my 686 and have been told that I should be looking at Vlier products - any advise please :)

I had S&W install one while doing a trigger job...it works well.

Edit to add: I see you are in the UK. How easy is it to find a good revolver smith?

If you are going to shoot double action and want a stop to hit just before the trigger brakes and fires double action a lot of combat and action shooters used to take a pencil eraser and super glue to the frame behind the trigger andthen take an emery board and dress it down until it will rotate the cylinder and stop then with just a little more pull on the trigger it will fire. A very easy way to find out if you really want a stop. Jeff

Thanks

Thanks for the info - I have seen the Vlier type plungers used - have you any idea of the type used ? Thanks in advance.
