Anyone have Mike LaRocco do a trigger job on your S&W M&P ?

Comments ot thoughts..

I know Mike from a long time ago shooting IPSC @ Westfield.

I just purchased an S&W 45 M&P, it needs HELP with the trigger. I've read about the guy in PA, but shipping both ways will cost about $100.00, + the trigger work.

The M&P is bone simple to work on. There is an M&P Talk Forum with a How To on triggers. With no parts, just clean and polish, you can do wonders.

There is a M&P specific forum elsewhere on the web that posts detailed pics of how to do your own. I did it. It wasn't hard.

Know nothing of the man you speak of. I had Dan Burwell do mine and am very well pleased with the results.

One of my M&P 45s has a Performance Center trigger job and I am very pleased with it. I plan to send my other two M&Ps in for the same treatment as well.

My trigger jobs are done by Winchester, Remington and Federal one round at a time. I prefer to take the money many will spend on trigger work and buy more ammo.components and shoot it alot more....does the same thing and I have alot more fun/practice at the same time.
Just my opinion on this..

Mike LaRocca worked for Pachmayr in the early 1980's as the lead pistolsmith.
He is located in Worcester, Ma and does some amazing work.
He now has a page on his sight that speaks of his work specifically on M&P's. He does a ton of S&W revolver work as well.

I have had him do a 1911 with hand checkering and lots of other custom work. It came out awesome. He smith's lots of firearms but you can't go wrong with him.
If you are nervous about doing the work yourself get it over to Mike!
