Hello guys hopefully you guys can help me out today.. I purchased a brand new trijicon rm06 on ebay . Installed it and took it out to the range. The rmr was spot on at about 30 yards on setting 3 or 4 and did not have one issue after shooting 300 rounds. After I left I Noticed that the red dot itself would dim or turn off once I pull the slide to the rear. Sometimes when I try adjusting the brightness after the dot starts to dim , it stays at that brightness setting unless I turn the rmr OFF. Has anyone had issues like this with the same or a different rmr? I am going to try to change the battery and hopefully that will fix it.

I am on my second RMR07 on my new core series and this second one is acting up also. Mine would dim, flicker and shut off completely during shooting.

also if you bought it off from ebay...and they are not an authorized Trijicon dealer you will have ZERO WARRANTY...FYI. Most companies use this policy.

So basically I'm stuck with it? Hey Barry what if I still have the blank warranty card? That has to account for something?

I'm thinking it has to do something with the battery and the plate possibly not making good contact with the battery? I'm just assuming because it's only happening with m&p it seems like

Ok so I checked another forum that I been posting on and this guy didn't have the same issue but he did have an on/off issue with him rmr. He said to put a strip of duct tape to hold the battery in place. I placed the tape on my gun and so far it looks like it's working when I lock my slide back to the rear and release it . No flickering or dimming yet, I will have to test it at the range now. I did notice however that the metal plate machined for the trijicon RMR's do not fit snug with the bottom of the rmr. Thus there is so wiggling , not much but enough to be noticed . I could be wrong but that is what I'm going to conclude my information on until I hear something from trijicon.

I tried clear tape...not duct tape from day 1 with my second RMR07 on my MPcore and that didnt help...I just took the tape off and now I am going to try it without the tape. I shot 50 rounds yesterday and the RMR didnt flicker.

FWIW call Trijicon and tell them about this....Ask if at all possible for a guy named eric in customer service. He is familiar with my case.

Also why are you shooting a 5inch barrel in your 4.25 inch gun?
