Been shooting this Model 327 for about 1 week now, lots of Magnum loads down the pipe 180, 158, 140 & a few 125 grainers. Love this thing so far, usually a 5-6" N frame feels oversized & too heavy to me but with the lightweight nature of this beast and the slimline Houge rubber grips it's very comfortable in the hand.

The hot loaded Double Tap 180 WFN-GC were a bit much in this gun, the recoil made my recovery time for a quick follow up shot near impossible. So going to concentrate my efforts on the 158-160 weight range. Open sights are good, thou the gold bead tends to disappear more than I'd like in different lighting conditions.

Impressions on the trigger, thou they say it's Performance Center tuned, but to me it feels like a regular un-tuned N frame , I'll run it this year, but this coming Winter pretty sure I'll send it off for a trigger job. I want a crisp single action pull (as is it's 5 lb with a slight hiccup before it breaks) & a much smoother double action but still 100 % reliable.

It handles hot loaded 158 ammo with absolute confidence even in a full speed 8 round ammo dump, which is exactly what I was looking for. With an improved trigger, this rig would be GTG.

Working thru some reloads using WW brass, CCI 500, 2400 powder charges under a 158 Barry's plated test bullet. Currently trying 13.5 & 14.0 grains. Will report some velocities when I have them

Those loads were underwhelming. Going to try 14.5 & the book max of 14.9 grains, hopefully get in the neighborhood of 1200 fps
