Good evening guys and gals, My name is Austin and I joined this site a matter of months ago. Long after I owed my first revolver.

I joined this site because I know that this is the place that I can be part of a group that is as passionate about firearms and safety with them as I am. I hope to become more knowledgeable about Smith revolvers as I delve in deeper to the models that I own, plus the models that I see flow across the forum. My knowledge about them is shallow at the moment, but deep nonetheless. In the recent months, I have researched a bunch of the revolvers that I own. A 19-4 Nickel 2 1/2, a 681 no dash, and the former 686-6+. I will soon acquire a 586 no dash here in the next few weeks. I am amazed at the pure craftsmanship of the revolvers and It just encompasses my imagination on the engineering and pure luck that got Smith & Wesson where the company is today.

In the future, I hope to make a speedy payoff of my Life Membership of the NRA, join the SWCA, and be as much of an active member as I can be. I want to learn more and have the passion to do so.

As for closing, I humble myself amidst the mass of knowledge that some of you may possess about Smith revolvers and hope to carry that knowledge to the next generation as well as the revolvers I meticulously take care of. If it weren't for the people such as yourselves, the only thing that we might have had would be memory books to just gaze upon what the history has shown us.

Thanks for all this forum helps me with and mainly for what I learn here. I am impressed and hopefully be a very active member.

I pledge allegiance to the American flag and God bless this nation for its servicemen and women for the sacrifices that they have and will make. In God we trust.
