Has anyone put a TruGlo TFX (or TFX Pro) front sight on an L-frame? The TruGlo website just shows a front sight for a J-frame and I've posed the question to them about an L-frame front sight. Has anyone tried putting one in an L-Frame?

Try meprolight.

Another forum member and I just installed meprolight front and rear adjustable night sights on a 686 I have m, and I couldn't be happier with the product so far. The rear sight blade did need a little handfitting to get right, but it's all operator level stuff.

Sorry about the poor picture, I don't have great lighting right now.

I'll take a look. I was hoping to do a fiber optic for good regular light use and I like the Tritium aspect of the TFX for low light.

Maybe another member can help you with that.

If it makes you feel any better I can see my trituims front and rears sights perfect in good lighting situations as well as no light at all. If you've got good light, and your still having issues seeing your sights, fiber optics may not be the answer either. Perhaps it's time to look into corrective lenses.

Best wishes.
