TruGlo Warranty?

Was at the range over the weekend, and my 9 month old TFO failed me on my 40c. Probably have 1K rounds through the pistol with these sights on.
Front fiber came loose and tritium must've leaked out.
Emailed TruGlo on Sunday, got the standard "we got your email reply" immediately, nothing since.

Their site says the original packaging states the warranty, I didn't realize I had to keep the original packing for the life of it.
If the package doesn't state the warranty, it's 90 days.

I was really set on getting the new TFO TFX, the only complaint I had about the original TFOs are the front site is a little hard to focus on in low light. The white ring should cure that.

Now...not so sure. Anyone have issues similar with their TFOs, had to warranty, etc.

Still no reply back from TruGlo, by the way.

Wondering how this worked out for you. Have been kicking around buying a set of TFO's. But 9 months service really doesn't seem like good bargain.

I would skip tfo. TFX is better in every way and the price difference isn't worth the savings.

I use solvent pretty liberally to clean my gun, it shrunk up the front fiber in no time.

Took truglo a few weeks to just swap mine out with a new set.

I've made a few other comments in other threads...the white Xring and sealed vials are worth it.
