Is Herrett's Stocks still in business? When I try their website I get IMO Outdoors and a message that the site has been suspended. EDITED: The Website is back up 2-3-2011 12:40 CST

I have a nice set of Herrett K-Frame grips on the way and was trying to see just what they are. They look like the Jordan Troopers I have on my N-frame Mod 25-5 except they are fine line checkered and I thought Jordans were always smooth. I seem to recall they showed a Shooting Master without finger grooves ( that always looked like Jordans to me in their on-line photos ) and I believe the Shooting Masters could be had with checkering. I was going to research them but can no longer connect to their wbsite.

Here are the only photos I have until they arrive.

I ran into the same problem last night! Was looking for grips for a Ruger.

I've got Jordan Troopers I had made and paid extra for the fine line checkering.

They look like yours. Even have the same deluxe figured wood grain.

Yeah, I think they are Jordan's, too. Because they cover the backstrap. I was on Herrett's sight last week or so, so if they closed it must have just happened.

Thanks for the answers so far. Still can not access the website; I hope it is weather related as I would hate to see a great old company like Herrett's close. I remember when Rod Herrett to over for his father Steve. I don't know if it's still family run or not.

I think they're Jordan's also but then again, when the site was up they had photos of both the Jordan Trooper and the Shooting Master without finger grooves and in the photos they appeared to be practically the same grip (covered backstrap and all) I don't know what the difference was but there was little if any apparent difference except the checkering was a option on the S.M but is said the Jordan came smooth only. Either way, these look like nice grips and if they fit and feel anywhere near as well as the Jordan's on my Mod 25-5 I will be a happy camper.

I just got off the phone from talking with Dee. she makes the custom stuff and assured me that. they are still very much in business. she gets there very early and it was quite nice to speak with her again.
the stock in question appears to be a trooper with checking. I could be mistaken.

You guys had me worried for a while, I ordered a pair of target grips in Jan and the lead time was 15 weeks. I couldn't imagine the bottom dropping out that fast.
