Trying to ID my Dads old gun

Wondering what this is: S&W Top Break Looks Chrome, Serial # on Butt 196204 and on cylinder. Fixed sights. There is Strain Screw. S&W emblem on right side Barrel is 3.5 inches ( from front of cylinder. ) No cal. markings but bbl and cylinder holes are 32 thousandths. No butt swivel or lanyard. 3 screws and 3 pins. Looks to be pearl grips. May be plastic but look real. Any help is appreciated. Can send pics if needed. Thank You!
