TSW Assembly Numbers

According to the Standard Catalog of S&W each TSW model has the frame and slide machined as a matched set with an assembly number on each half. I have field stripped and looked at a 4013 tactical and a 4513 tactical but I can't find any assembly number. So where do I find this number? Thanks in advance for any help.

These numbers are on the TSW series with the accessory rail. Underside of slide and under the grips on the frame.

Thanks for the reply Kurt. I checked and still could not find any assembly number so I called the factory and spoke with an individual who was responsible for the assembly and he informed me that the slide and frame are machined as a matched set but no assembly number is stamped on each half. So I guess the book is incorrect.

My 4006 TSW has the accessory rail and also has the number stamped on the underside of the slide and under the grips on the frame

I think you two guys are in cahoots with the book and are having a little fun at my expense. Both of mine have the accessory rail and neither one has any assembly number stamped on either half that I can find. Where exactly are you finding these numbers and/or could you post a pic? Anyone else care to chime in?
