I have a TSW5906 with a loose rail. I want to tighten it up. I was planning on removing it, cerakoting it and then replacing the rivets with screws (like a Chicago screw?) and maybe a light layer of epoxy.

Has anyone else done this and does anyone know where I can get another rail? In case this doesn't end well for the first one. I would prefer that a smith does this, but there is no one local in Rapid City, SD that will touch it for less than what the pistol cost.

I bet to just tighten, you could put something hard on one side and strike the other side with a punch. That should flare it out and tighten it.

I removed mine, but if I ever put it back on, I was thinking of tapping the frame and putting an allen or torx head screw in it.

To remove the old rivets, I think I just drilled them out.
