I was wondering if anyone knows of a good tuckable iwb holster for 9mm shield. Not looking for the dual clip ones like crossbreed or alien gear. Just a single clip adjustible cant one. Criteria would be that it needs to be as thin as possible. I have a blackhawk arc one that is a molded one and very thin. It is not tuckable though. Kydex would be great but other would be okay. I see decent reviews on desantis soft tuck and galco tuck n go but not sure how thin they are. The kydex style doesnt seem to add much to the width to gun. Thx

I just purchased the DE Santis tuck this II for my Shield. It arrived in the mail today. Model #M24BJE1Z0

I have been pleased with the quality of DE Santis pocket holsters so I thought I would tryout the tuck holster.

I tried the desantis inside heat iwb and it was way to thick. Added a 1/2" or more to the gun which made it uncomfortable. Switching to the blackhawk arc was very comfortable and didnt add muc h thickness

The N82 Tactical Professional holster is very comfortable and tuckable. I have one for my Shield and 40c.

I have a Desantis IWB that I like, very thin and comfortable, but there is no retention on the firearm. It also collapses when the pistol is removed.

check out Foxx holsters. located in mi, I have the basic Lil Fox for my shield no comfort pad, I usually wear one of those sports/ moisture wicking t shirts under my outer and really like the Lil Foxx

Garretts Silent Thunder Solo meets your criteria. I do not tuck mine but this is a very comfortable blend of kydex and leather.

Crossbreed's AIWB is a single clip as is the "new" Freedom Carry. I second the GI and FOXX suggestions - have both (only FOXX for the Shield though) and they are great.

Hi. I have a "Front Line K4328-BK RH Tuckable Inside Waistband IWB Kydex Holster S&W 469 39 59" for my S&W model 439 that I am extremely happy with. I bought it off eBay for about $44. The seller was steyr77aug. Contact him to see what he can fix you up with. He is a really good guy that has a wide variety of holsters.

I like the Crossbreed Mini-Tuck for my shield. I'm a BIG guy but it works great

I've had my lil foxx for 3 years quick on and off very comfortable

Is there a holster that has a longer clip to let the holster ride lower in the pants?

Tuckable is SO over-rated...to me it is a solution to a non-exisitant problem. In addition to that it presents a whole new problem in presenting the gun when needed.

Buy the highest quality IWB holster that you can afford with a very sturdy belt and problem is solved. For many that would include Kramer, Milt Sparks, Alessi, and many others

Sneak a peek at concealmentsolutions.com I've used their two clip since I started carrying. The have a single clip version that looks to be good quality. Two things that are really nice about these holsters. The kydex rises slightly above the pant line easing holstering. Also the leather goes below the muzzle. I tried the king tuk around the house while waiting on my license. Those two points are why it has sat in the corner for a long time now.
