Hey all,
I have an M&P 9C. I dress in shorts and a polo shirt always tucked in. I am looking for my first holster so I can start carrying all the time. I only had the gun for about four months so I am holster shopping. I like the idea of the High Noon tuckable style holsters so the shirt goes down pretty far. Mainly looking at the Hidden Ally. Does anyone here use the High Noon products? All ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

They make a decent product..I have two of their Mr. Softy IWBs..but those are their bottom of the line rigs, which is okay for me since I only use them for short trips when I just want to use a clip on...

Not sure what you are carrying, and what position you carry in..but will tell you that the High Noon is great for JFrames, and smaller thin autos in the appendix carry. I used their tuckable "Mr Softy" (I think). So far as larger guns, Crossbreed, Minotaur, MTAC, etc...would be a good bet. Your body style and clothing choices will be a large contributor as to whether or not this mode works for you.

Philvis,
It's an M&P 9C. Probably going to carry between 3:30-5 position. Shorts and polo shirt tucked in almost always. Those other models just look so big and bulky but I have never owned any of them so I don't know. I would rather get opinions here from people that have used the different types.

Well, I carried a Glock 23 at that position in the Crossbreed and MTAC and CTAC and The Tucker version...I think I liked the Tucker the best...felt the most comfortable and I could get it the lowest...but my all time favorite for the Glock in that position IWB is the RM Lowrider...very comfortable, but its not tuckable...

Tuckable

Have you considered a belly band? I've had a Bianchi Ranger for several years and love it. I've carried a Glock 27 and J,K,L and N frame S@W revolvers in it under a tucked in shirt. It of course can't be skin tight, but every gun mentioned is totally concealed. I once wore it with my M640 and a spare speed strip for 17 hours straight and almost forgot it was there. Very comfortable.

Tuckable Holster

I have carried an M&P9c for several months in a tuckable holster from Wild Bills and really like it. I have to admit I usually don't tuck my shirt in but it is designed to do that. When I first got the gun I was looking at a lot of the better known ones like MTAC, Crossbreed, Supertuck, etc. that you see on the forums, but when I saw the Wild Bills at a gun show I bought it and have not been sorry. It's all leather with an offset clip and seems to be top quality and is quite comfortable. It fits the 9c perfectly and the gun rides low and close in the 4 oclock position.

I carry a Glock 32 in a HighNoon Split Decision. I usually carry it at 1 o'clock. It tucks great, is comfortable and very concealable. I would recommend HighNoon.

I carry my CS9 in a tuckable High Noon holster, but I've only tucked it once. Usually I just wear the shirt loose. Love the holster. I can jog across the parking lot and the gun stays put!

While Wild Bill's Concealment does make some quality gear, I would caution against ordering from their website. In my experience, their customer service is (or was) atrocious (to put it nicely) and their reputation on the various online forums is (or was) pretty poor. Buying their gear in person, such as the gun show purchase you mentioned, may be the safest course of action.

I ordered a belt/holster/mag carrier package from Wild Bill's in early spring 2008. The big thing that pushed me towards ordering from WB's was the great price on the combo sets, and the fact that they claimed that most holsters and gear were purportedly in stock. My credit card was charged upon ordering, but no confirmation or order invoice was ever sent. I attempted to contact them numerous times over the following weeks, to no avail, until I was finally able to get someone on the phone. They advised that the set was reportedly in production, and would be sent out within a week or so. After another month with nothing, I again attempted to contact them. After failing, I threw up my hands and gave up. It was only after I voiced my frustration on SigForum that I was pointed towards other posts on various forums with numerous people with similar complaints. I realized that I should have done some more thorough research ahead of time.

Then in August or September, about six months after I ordered my product, a mysterious package arrived at my door. It was my leather gear from Wild Bills. I will admit that the quality is pretty good, and has gotten plenty of use since then, but the frustrating experience with their online ordering system and complete lack of communication has completely turned me off to them.

One can only hope that they have gotten better in the last year or so. And their website has been revamped, which could be a good sign. They still makes the same claims of "most holsters are in stock" as before, though. Your Mileage My Vary.

I can't comment on their customer service, just the quality of the product I bought and how well it works for me. In fact, it almost worked a little too well for me today when I forgot I was carrying my 9c in it and almost walked into work with it on - a serious no no!
Sounds like a lot of other companies that over promise and under deliver with their on-line presence. Personally, I almost never by stuff on-line, with Bud's being about the only exception. Glad you finally got your stuff though.

Here's another MTAC vote...best holster I've ever used. I've used the High Noon holsters before with mixed results, mostly because one holster would fit several guns so it wasn't an exact fit. I've not had any of their expensive stuff (although their pocket holster is excellent).
