Has anyone shot this stuff at more than 25 yds?. When I got my AR and Axis I didn't load for 223 and bought 500 rds of this stuff. I have been limited to 25 rds till a couple of weeks ago. Worked real well at that distance. Twice in the last two weeks at a 100 yds and I was lucky to keep it in a 14" circle with either gun. My loads with 21gr 3031 kept everything in a 3" circle with AR and Axis. ( old, blind and very bad shoulders) Just my guns or is this stuff pretty much junk?

From what I have seen at the range and on line, the .223 steel case Tula isn't noted for accuracy. People tend to not notice lack of 100+ yard accuracy in 7.62 X 39 ammunition because most AK and SKS rifles and carbines lack practical accuracy at a distance due primarily to the crude sights and rough, heavy trigger pulls. In a good AR, which is generally capable of much better accuracy, mediocre ammo rears it's head more easily. 25 yards isn't much of an accuracy test for any rifle.
That being said, I have never shot any brand or maker of steel case ammo in my .223 or 5.56 rifles, largely as a result of what I have seen in the hands of those who do.

My wife got some at Walmart for an LCP that I bought my daughter for her 21st birthday. Normally I avoid steel case. I think we will shoot this, after all it's just an LCP. If it wears it out we can throw it away and get another one

If steel case "wears out" your handgun, you need to start buying different handguns

objectively, how much of an issue is steel-cased ammo? Do you risk extractor issues at all?
I'm asking, because I'm remembering the stigma surrounding various surplus guns in the past (like the Mosin)... it's so inexpensive it must be no good.
Now that the price is rising, people are beginning to look at them more.
