I have been collecting Winchester single shot .22s for quite a while. I had at least one of every model except a model 1900 and a model 58. I have looked for years and every one I found seemed to have a splintered or broken stock. I found these two sitting beside each other on the same table. Both have good stocks and not to bad of condition for 100 years old.
The top rifle is the model 58 with the flat stock and rounded edges. The bottom is the early 1900.
Here from top to bottom is a model 36, 9mm rimfire shotgun, 1900, Thumbtrigger, 1902, 1904, 58, 59
These are the older single shot rifles.
