I went to Tulsa with 1 thing I wanted to bring home. A set of N-Frame Ivory pre war service grips. None to be found anywhere in the show. At the Southwest Bunch Barbeque they auctioned off a set but they went beyond what I wanted to pay.
I did find some goodies that I brought home though:D:D:D. 3 sets of Pre War Diamond Service stocks and a set of N-Frame Pre War Magnas, I really like the modified service set on my RM  I guess I am just a sucker for those things that most would walk on by.
also 2 sets of K-frame service Ivory, one set is checkered, and a set of Gold Medallion K-frame service stocks.
I got some new paper to fill in some voids too. I had a great time seeing all the guys and gals of The Forum and SWCA . cant wait until the spring show.

Nice stocks you found there. Are the prices really as unreasonabe as people say they are in Tulsa, or can deals be had?

I can't wait until the first time I have a chance to make that show. Thanks for sharing your stuff.

SCORE!!!!

Dan:

Great stuff. I too like those customized service stocks.

Did you bring home any steel, or was it just wood, ivory, and paper?

Congrats,

Dan, you definitely caught some good stuff. Sometimes I have been lucky with individual revolvers, but I never seem to have any luck with loose stocks. I'm envious of the collection you put together there.

Thanks guys,

Dan,
pricing on stuff can be crazy, but there is always bargains to be found. Thats what makes the searching of each and every table at the show fun.

Rick,
No steel this year just the goodies shown, there was a Table full of W&K guns too  and I stood the test strong, It was hard though :D.

John,
I told Bill that we need to get you back to Tulsa soon:D:D:D
stay safe buddy.

Dan

Nice finds Dan.

...I guess that I need to plan some days off for next year's show....it sounds like you guys have a good time outside of the show too...I guess I should start saving for some new toys now....are the accommodations reasonable? and do I need to book a hotel room now?

....that ivory makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :D

Thats a great collection from a single show. I'm thinking Dan used to have deep pockets....Clearly someone else was limping due to the weight of the money they had to carry home. I'm sure it was a relief for Dan to not be burdened with it...:)

I find a good gun show is one where I make a single great score. He seems to have landed more than a handful.

Dan had his horseshoe working the whole time as he would venture out and return with his new booty! Next time I'm going to follow him!
