My first trip to tulsa gunshow and it was a blast. Reminded me of the twice a year shows in Charlotte back in the 60's, except 10 times as big. I was a little under whelmed at the size, until I started to walk it. I think I got 3/4's of the way thru it, had time to do the rest, but was happy to sit at the table. Sold two rifles, a pre 64 264 mag and a sav 99 in 250/300 as well as a K22 OD, short bbl diamondback, and an "A" engraved 29-2 NIB.

Added to the herd a 3 1/2" model 27-2, a pre 10 shipped to local chief of police, a Rem 12c oct bbl, a win 71, and two engraved smiths; a model of 1955 45acp and a kit gun.
Happy with what I sold and bought. Will definitely do it again. 8 hr drive Wed and 8 hr drive on Thurs will get you from SC to tulsa. Then you get to drive home.

Nice find.

The kit gun I would think is after market. the seller only had the 45 for a couple weeks, and did not have time to research it. It maybe factory, but if so it would have probably have come with a letter. I'll get some pics soon.

Charlie -- It was great meeting you out in Tulsa and enjoyed talking about all our S&W treasures. Looks like you got some great ones for sure

The 71 is a 348 win, rifle version. I did see a carbine, but left it there. ($$$). I got a 70% rifle a couple yrs ago and its my favorite hunting rifle for SW Va. Only problem is my son liked it too. Was looking for a beater for him to clang around in the tree stand, but found a nicer one, made the guy a low ball offer, and he said "pay me".

Mike, will get the pair up to Charlotte in June.

Colton and I met in the parking lot of the hotel as we were packing up. Pretty obvious we were both there for the show and turns out both S&W collectors. It was nice talking S&W's with you.

thanks for the comments everyone. I'm a happy camper. for now.
