Since moving to NY about 10 years ago, I have finally made the connection between this big fellow and his two gal friends and SPRINGTIME!

Another six weeks or so ... this is my year! Four years hunting turkeys, I've been skunked every spring.
 
I've been hunting them for 25 years and it still sends chills down my spine when I hear one gobble so
close you can hear his feathers rattle. My favorite time to hunt. The old cagey gobblers will make you
look like a fool sometimes. The only thing certain in turkey hunting is that nothing is certain. Even
the best laids plans can quickly go out the window when he flies down in the morning. I know from
experience, but I still love matching wits with those birds. Good luck this season and above all,
BE SAFE!
