I think the time is just about right. Bus charters and caravans taking 5,000 or so people to Connecticutt every week or two for public demonstrations, each person displaying an unregistered magazine. Nice and peaceful, courteous and respectful, clean and neat. Video crews, of course.
Best if no one carries any identification. That way it will take CT authorities several days to identify most of us via fingerprints, etc. No one posts bail. No one gives a promise to appear in court. Everyone enters 'not guilty' pleas and demands a jury trial. The more retirees the better, especially those with special medical needs, prescription medication requirements, etc, for the authorities to deal with.
Repeat the process once or twice each month. Let them fully understand that they don't have enough cops to arrest, enough jail cells to hold, enough prosecutors to proceed, or enough courtrooms to hold the trials.
I don't think it would be very long before local and state officials would be begging the state legislature to repeal these laws.
Road trip anyone?
