I was watching a show today featuring a sub machine gun from WWII. They went on and on about how good it was and it's fast cyclic rate but all video of it shooting was in slow motion!
Come on, I want to see it shoot that string full speed. I could care less about seeing the shooters' cheeks flapping in slow mo.
This happens too often, along with showing ALL semi autos with their slides locked back.
Quit being so darned PC. You're professionals and I'm sure you've verified it's unloaded and you won't shoot me through the TV.
I would like to see how things really look and perform if you want to interest me or sell me something.
Rant over...

...and then there's the continuous and unnecessary music making the commentary all but impossible to hear.:(

What was that new show about some "gunsmith" shop in Utah, I think maybe on the History Channel? No words to describe how bad it is. I watched part of the first episode, that was enough.

the shows horrible

I don't know about a Utah show but I do remember a gun shop show from Colorado. It was shut down after the owner was convicted of selling guns without a license.

I too don't like the slow mo when the point is how fast it really is...
but at least they got the weapon right... I hate the historical things showing the wrong weapon... The TRUE Bonny & Clyde... Clyde is holding a Python... ??? too many NON gun people in the film industry... they are at the point of "they don't know what they don't know..."

"Brothers in Arms" is that new show on the History Channel - about the gunsmith shop in Utah. It's truly horrible.

The one about the Colorado gunsmith ended maybe five years ago. The only good thing about was the central character's hot teenage daughter. That was the only reason I watched it. The guy would fly around the country in his own plane buying valuable guns into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, in cash. I know that guy got into legal trouble over something, but I don't remember what it was.

Then there was that show about the gunsmith in Baton Rouge LA. I am pretty sure he's still doing hard time, but I don't remember what for.

Haha. The girl was a primary reason that I watched the show, not for the stupid project guns.and fabricated drama. Guns? What guns. Same goes for the Alaskan show, with Phred. Adorable, in a sea of old men as co-workers.
If memory serves, the guy in Baton Rouge violated Class III laws. The Colorado guy lost his FFL, wasn't paying taxes, and was selling guns straw style, through someone else's FFL.

The History Cannel turned into a real stink bomb, very seldom turn to it?
Speaking of those amazing gun smiths, wasn't that one with plane nailed for tax evasion? I know the one from La. is doing time for being a molestor and a perv.
Never cared for either shows....
