Two guns shows this weekend

Two different gunshow promoters are having shows this weekend in San Antonio.

I started out to go to both, but one was enough. The place was more crowded than ever with long lines at many of the tables.

I was looking for reloading components - me and a lot of other people. There were 2 vendors there with a fair supply of everything but pistol primers. One had CCI small rifle primers for $41/1000.

There were still a lot more handguns than the ammo for them. I couldn't get through the crowds to see of the prices on used S&Ws.

A buddy called me Friday and said he had found some .38 components while cleaning his garage.

I went over Saturday and got 500 Win 125gr sjhp's, 800 Win small pistol magnum and 400 Win small pistol primers and a milk jug of .357 and .38 spl cases. All for $45.

He and I then went to a local trap club and I got a 1 lb can of Win 296 powder for $20.06 including tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So for $65.06, I got everything for 500+ .357 Magnums

Thought I was running low on small pistol primers. Going thru the shelves in my shop I found a 1000 each, small pistol, small rifle, large pistol and large rifle. All CCI brand. Guess I don't have to pay jacked up prices now.
