I apologize if the answers are in the forum somewhere....

1) Do the 2.0 9 compacts not have a mag safety disconnect? I have on,y been able to find them with the mag safety.
2) Which are the best online gun stores? Price matters, but so does customer service.

Thanks for your input!

Sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore - never been disappointed. Good sale prices, good service.

S&W M&P 9mm Compact 2.0, 3.6"

"Caution, capable of firing with magazine removed" etched in the slide.

Mine has a thumb safety, because I like them!

I have had excellent luck both with a lomg gun and hand gun from

Grabagun

Extremely fast delivery and tracking number provided to track shipment and great prices.

Last I saw both 4” and 3.6” 2.0 9c was $389. Some shipping and of course whatever FFL fees apply, as they woild from any online purchase.

Personally, for a self defense handgun, I would NOT want a mag safety, nor a thumb safety. But everyone has their own preferences.

I left a Shield 45 in the cart on Grabagun. Next day I had free shipping coupon. $8 savings, oh yeah!

Not sure what sort of service you are needing from an online store. I've purchased from several. They take the order, charge the card, send to the FFL dealer. That's it. I've not had any issues with any of them.

Bud's Gunshop has been a good source for me. their prices are pretty good. they've had alot of experience in the online retail business. their payment system is flexible....they will take personal checks.

I usually go to gunengine.com (no affiliation) and do a search for a particular gun to get an idea of best prices/best places. I've had good luck with Sportsman Outdoor Superstore and sometimes Deguns. I've heard really good things about grabagun.

Thank you all for the input. I’m asking about online dealers to get info about customer service and good experiences, mainly. I can get a 2.0 9c here for $479, but I can get it online for $399, so $425. $50 is a significant difference for me, but I don’t want to get a dud.
I did find out that none of the 2.0 9c’s have a mag safety disconnect.

Another vote for Sportsman Outdoor Superstore as an M&P online buying destination, if not the lowest then very competitive, especially with free shipping. I bought my 2.0 Compact & 5" 2.0 M&Ps through them.

Sportsman’s has a 9c with the Crimson Trace gree Laserguard for $519, so $120 more than without. The CTs are around $300 on their own. I have no experience with lasers, so I’m wondering if it makes sense to get one already installed.

I have had good experience with Grabagun.com. Also good experience with Brownells (watch for coupons). Combatarmory.com as well.

As far as mag disconnect, are you looking at MA compliant models?

Why would S&W discontinue selling the new 9c’s with a hard case? According to Sportsman’s, neither has a hard case anymore.

Ii have 3 M&Ps. A full size 9mm, and 2 Shields, a 9mm and a .45. All three purchased from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore. Haven't had a dud yet, and if you check it well at your FFL when you go to pick it up, and find a problem, just get with SOSS and tell them it's going back. There's little chance that you'll have any problems, but if you're worried that much about getting a dud, then you might as well buy local. I have yet to see ANYONE who could beat SOSS prices.

Edit; actually Tombstone Tactical is a bit chaeper right now, and Grab-a-gun WOULD be if not for the TX sales tax in my case.
