Just wanted to share a few pics of my model 27 and model 29. I have the original target stocks for both but prefer the executioner grips myself. Enjoyed shooting them both yesterday now they are cleaned and oiled ready to go back in the safe.

Could anyone tell me what year they were made?

Looks like a 5" and a 4", both very highly prized. Which do you like the best?

The m27 is actually is a 6". I like both very much but would probably keep the 29 over the 27. I just like the versatility of the 44magnum.

I enjoy shooting my 686 a bit more than the 27... however, the 686 does not have the looks of the 27.

You enjoy shooting a 4" 44 Magnum with Magna stocks?

You are a tougher man than I am.

I rarely shoot magnum loads through that gun. The highest power loads I shoot range from 7.5-8 grains of Universal. Highly accurate and good enough to stop most anything. If I feel like shooting full power magnums, I grab my 6" M29-5 with target stocks.
