Saw on the Net last night that ABC has cancelled, "666 Park Ave." and, "Last Resort." I liked both.

Did anyone else here watch either?

Also learned that Daisy Betts, who played the cute Lt. on the submarine in, "Last Resort" is Australian. They sure can fake US accents...

That figures. I find a decent show I like and they cancel it. I'm tired of the worthless junk on TV.

I thought "Last Resort" had potential the first couple of times I watched it, then I just lost interest. I never saw an episode of the Park Avenue show.

I am completely addicted to "Homeland" on Showtime, and I cannot figure out why. The plot holes are enormous from week to week and the basic storyline is preposterous. But I keep coming back. The quality of the acting is astonishingly good, but that can't be the only thing that has my attention. There has been good acting on other shows that I found simply not credible, and that wasn't enough to keep my attention.

I'm waiting for the new season of "Justified" to start some time next year, and I can barely wait until next summer and the concluding episodes of "Breaking Bad."

I'm waiting for the next Game of Thrones on HBO.

I'm afraid that I find most series on the "regular" channels unwatchable, not only because of the amount of ads but the type of ads. Then there are the continual "watch BSTV News at 11" ads with 20dB compressed audio from the local affiliate. Fringe is about to start from the beginning on the Science channel. I will probably watch it there, but I could not stomach trying to watch the show or anything else on Fox in primetime.

Never even heard of either one...and I watch too much tv as it is - so I should have seen some commercial or another for one or both.

I didn't watch either. I'm not watching much network TV these days, unless it's a comedy. Not too much interests me. There's a couple of the "upper channel" shows I like, but I try to catch them On Demand rather than at their regular times. Just more convenient that way.

There are two shows I can't miss:

"Dancing with the Stars" (yes, I admit it...:o...but it has good looking women dancing around in their scanties and my wife lets me watch it) and "Sons of Anarchy." As for the rest, I'd rather watch old sitcom reruns.

Last Resort was just too implausible, but it did have its moments. I was just getting into 666. As long as they don't cancel "2 Broke Girls" I'm OK.

I watch very little network TV. Except for a couple of shows like "Blue Bloods", "NCIS", and "Person of Interest", I generally avoid it.

Tonight, on the Encore premium channels they're re-running "Lonesome Dove"; each night this week @ 8 & 11. They also ran "Open Range". I'm not a huge fan of Kevin Costner nor Annette Bening, but both of them were great. However, the real star is Robert Duvall.

Last Resort doesn't seem to me to be as adventerous as it was in the first episodes. Still will miss it when it goes off air. Shame though when you have a show like that and it all falls apart. Frank

I like, " Criminal Minds" and, "Blue Bloods" and a few others. If Discovery or PBS has a good nature show, I'll enjoy that.

Don't care for reality shows or dance contests. I do plan to watch the Victoria's Secret fashion show on CBS on Dec. 4. Those are often good if they don't opt for rap singers. One year they had both Phil Collins and Marc Anthony. (I'm divorced, so don't have to sweat a wife's approval, thank goodness.)

I do occasionally see the gun shows on Discovery. Yes, Paige has a long neck, but I sort of like the shows, although they are full of condensed apple pie about prices, safety, etc.

"Arrow" and, "Beauty and the Beast" are a couple of other pretty good new shows. I don't like the way they blur the action. I guess the liberals who run TV think it's too violent otherwise.

Hey: "The Mob Doctor" is really good and has quite talented actors. I usually avoid mob shows, but like this one.

And, "The Mentalist" is pretty good.

I kind of gave up on, "Hawaii Five-0" when Lauren German left or got fired.

i watched the first 4 or 5 episodes of last resort, missed an episode so the wife could watch something while the big bang theory recorded, never went back...i forgot about it actually...it had potential though

Nope, watched one episode of Last Resort.

They can cancel most all the shows on TV except NCIS (original) and the Mentalist.

I really liked Kyra Sedgwick in the Closer, it's not the same without her. Now Major Crimes. Mary McDonnell who we loved to hate and then come to like, does a good job in the new show.

I too thought "Last Resort" had potential but i just couldnt get into it. Never saw the other.

I watch NCIS, Criminal Minds sometimes, Person of Interest, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, Dexter

What do you guys think of "Vagas"?
