The other day my partner and I are going out to arrest this dude on a Felony warrant. As we are driving to his last known address we see the suspects car at a gas station so I pull over and we wait for him to come out of the store. I tell my partner it must be our lucky day and this is what clean living will do for you.

After waiting just a couple of minutes a female walks out of the gas station dragging two kids and they all get into the car and drive away. We follow the car in hopes it will lead us to the dude we are looking for, but it was to no avail.

The car eventually gets farther and farther away from the house so we decide to have it stopped and the driver identified. An officer follows her for a short while and after observing a minor traffic violation pulls the car over.

The driver of the car is identified and it is soon learned she has outstanding warrants. She is arrested and the officer asks where dude (owner of car and guy we are looking for) is and she says he is at home.

The officer says do you want to call him so he can come to the location to get the car and she says that would be great and thanks for saving her the impound fees. She provides the officer with a phone number to the dude and he answers he says he will come get the car and thanks for not impounding the car.

A few minutes later dude calls the officer back and says he can't get a ride so the officer tells him “no problem, tell me where you are at and I'll bring the keys to you and you can get the car later.” The dude then gives the officer the address to where he is at. The officer me and my partner then go to the address and deliver the keys. The dude is promptly arrested on his warrants and goes to join his lady friend at the county jail.

I just love it when a plan comes together

Most of these two bit thieves are stupid. Years ago as a guard I was working a holiday weekend at lockheed. No one else was working at the huge plant but me, the fire dept and a 3 man crew from maintanace waxing some floors. I found a vending machine busted into on my rounds right near them. I had keys to everything in the plant. I knew there was a janitors closet on every floor. I went to the top floor to work my way down. The first closet I opened I found the money box, the crowbar they used and a garbage bag full of cold pop!
A few nights later I and my ex wife went to the shopping center and I spotted one of the guys and another haressing women comeing out of the store. I told my ex, hey, that is one of the guys I caught the other night that they fired! They spotted me and got in a old MG convertable. They hollered some obsenity to me as I was getting out. I started to grab one in the car. At the time my ex had been changing a real runney diaper on our daughter, took that crappy diaper and threw it in on top these guys sitting in the open convertable! They scratched out. However they waited for us. As we drove out on the street from the market, here they came down the highway from the opposite direction and threw a large booze bottle at us! Their timeing was off by a hunderth of a secound and the bottle fell short of the car and windsheild of my trans am as we closed!
Anyway about a month latter I read in the paper where he was murdered in a drug deal!

Hopefully the two kids she had in the car can be taken in by somebody that will teach them right from wrong and raise them well.
