Tyler T Grip company shutdown - shipping again

According to their web site, Tyler is under new ownership/management and is clearing up their backorders of brushed/polished aluminum and bronze trigger shoes and T-Grips.

I have been following their new ownership and am aware of customers receiving their orders. But I am irritated to hear that the same adapter I order and paid for close to 9 months ago is being delivered to more recent customers.

I ordered one for My Ruger Speed Six less than 2 weeks ago and received it today. Looks like new owner is bringing back the product. Hope everyone gets theirs soon. kingcobra07

I just got another "BK" Grip Adapter for a "K"-frame that I ordered MONDAY.

I ordered the BK and it fits and functions 100%. Yeah, if you think only of material cost it seems steep, but so does $25 to $40 for a box of factory JHP ammo you can shoot-up in minutes.

Nothing against BK, but you won't catch me putting anything plastic on my no-dash 66. If I wanted plastic on my gun, I would have bought a Glock. Plastic and a classic S&W revolver are two things that just don't belong together.

Now if BK would have made an aluminum adapter, I would have quickly given them my business.

Those BKs look nice. I think the price is fair, there is more to making something than how much the materials cost. If my T-grips fall through I will order some.

The people who think that the BK should sell for $5 based on an imaginary material cost have obviously never started or run a business.

the 5.00 thing is an exaggeration, but considering the real tyler is the same price made of milled aluminum i'd think a plastic copy would cost less.

The company seems to be new, so cost per unit is still gonna be high. Tylers infrastructure and logistics are already established, so there unit costs can be lower. If the companies were identical in all of this, then, one would assume, the plastic model would be cheaper.

Bk has one advantage, internet sales. Its 2011, a 12 year old can set up a website that can take CC or paypal. It took me an hour to go get a Money order, got to thr post office and mail it off. Or i could have done all of this in 2 minutes at my house.
