The grip adapter I ordered for my Model 63 in January 2011, showed up Saturday. I was pleased to finally get it, but just a little disappointed at the fit.
Still, I need one for an older Model 10..............

O ordered a T grip for my K frame in Sept 2011 and my check was cashed 9/13. It is now January of 2012 and no grip no communication and no reply to my letters. Order at your own risk.
Since he doesn't take credit cards, you have to trust, and send the money/check----then instead of being a customer you become a victim.

Wow, I'm sorry you guys had to deal with this. I guess I was one of the lucky ones, got mine in exactly one week. I think I will be getting bk adapters from now on.

Same situation here, I ordered in November 2011, Check was cashed a week later and I have yet to recieve my order. Being no contact info is listed other than the payment address, Does anyone on the forum know of any methods to contact the owner or maybe even know the owner?

Still waiting on my order check cleared bank 12/5. I would like to think that you would not post on your web site that you have items in stock and that most orders are filled in 6 to 10 days unless that is the case. I have used Tyler T-grips for over 30 years. I hope they get the situation remedied. My t grip arrived at the end of January. The quality and fit were excellent. I have read many posts on this company. My conclusion is the new owner is trying to turn things around but is overwhelmed in trying to correct the sins of the previous owners. It may well be a one man operation so I don't know how it will play out. I do know that of all the grip adapters I have used pacmyers, Tyler and bk I like Tyler's the best.

Probably a dumb idea but if I had placed an order with them I'd probably start sending a form letter with a new date every other day asking where my grips were until they arrived. Since they only take checks by mail, someone has to manually open up all those envelopes looking for payments with new orders. If everyone who had placed an order with them did the same thing it would eventually overload their system. Overloading the system with letters without money would give them some sort of incentive to get caught up, and send me my mine in order to make me stop writing them and having to open the letters. Squeaky wheel principle in action. Like I said, probably a dumb idea, but I'm just that kind of guy.
Glad I read this thread. I had just went to his web site, printed of the order form and ready to send a check for a set of brushed aluminum. Think I'll wait!

The company suffered some setbacks. It has been recovering. Began filling many months of back orders and making good on them. Still working their way back and not 100% yet. It may take some time to get your order filled.
Even 10 years ago Tyler filled some of my orders in a couple of weeks, others took months. They always came.
Many folks get used to receiving an ordered item in a few days or a couple of weeks. Amazon does it so does Midway. With Tyler it may take longer. That is just the case right now.
Relax or if the wait irritates you a great deal move on to another supplier or a new set of stocks. Send 'em a note once a month or every two or so and don't worry about it. You will get the grips or your money back but it may not be "right now".

Good gad it begins again! I would NEVER do business with Tyler T-Grip again! Get BK 2 clip grip adapters. Better service, better grip adapter and an *upright* guy to deal with. I don't know who Tyler knows but they should have been put out of business a long time ago!

I'm glad they are working their way back, and that they are taking care of the backorders. I have a T-Grip on my M49, and am totally pleased with it. I also want adapters for my M10 and 1917, but will hold off Tyler and go with BK.
Hopefully, they will get back up to speed and stay there; confidence is not restored overnight.

I have a couple old Tyler adapters and also a pair of BK Grips. The old metal Tylers look cool, however the BK adapters fit better and more important, feel better.

Exactly why I just looked on forums to find a T-grip. I hope the company get's things running smoothly soon, but that whole send your money to a p.o. box thing bothers me, can't say exactly why, but it does. I'm happy with the t-grip I have and I'd get another, but not from the company until I start hearing better things about 'em.

I read this post, and wanted to clarify my post just a little earlier than tipoc. I would only begin my letter writing campaign only after a reasonable period of time for the product to arrive had come and gone. I agree with tipoc that a small company should have the ability to recover financially, and sometimes we are all a little too Type A in our expectations.

The two "J" adapters that I ordered in late November arrived today.
Not too bad, especially considering their past issues and the holidays intervening.
