Tyler T grip Date

Purchased several of the T grips pictured. Just wondering about when they where made. When did Tyler stop putting them in the box. The end label is marked Melvin Tyler. I would like to be able to put them on the period correct revolver.

I bought a few hundred from a gun shop in the late 80's, they were old stock then and have the same box. If I were to guess I'd say 1960's. None of mine have dated paperwork. Wish I could be of more help. Ivan

The really older ones have a box with a lid on it. Like a teeny weeny shirt box.

Tyler T grip date

I have been married for 30 years so I do not remember much about dating.

But i am almost certain that the single girls wanted chocalate, flowers and a guy with a car.

But if you think a Tyler T grip will make her like you -- who am I to say you're wrong.

AFAIK,1st gen,2 piece box with "MELVIN" stamped on the side(of the adapter) and the 2 digit postal code "14",2nd gen,1 piece box,no "MELVIN" stamp,and the full 7 digit zip code,3rd gen,plastic baggie,nothing stamped on the side.
