Hi folks, I have an old Tyler T-Grip, marked size "14". It was a take off piece off an older Model 36 Revolver, but it wasn't a perfect fit...anyone know what gun the size 14 is made to fit? I couldn't find it listed on Tyler's web site.

The 14 you're referring to is located on the side of the adapter and is part of the old stamped pre-zip code address. It is not a fit code. The fit number is located on the backside of the adapter, cast into the metal.

Thanks! I found it; barely legible, but it's on the backside as you said and is stamped TYLER and the numeral "1". Thanks.

For ALL Smith & Wesson "J" frames; models: 30, 31, 34, 36, 37, 38, 47, 60, 63, 649, ect..., made after 1955. Chief, Kit Gun, Bodyguard, Centennial, hand Ejector, ect, also most Charter Arms, Rossi 38 Special, Taurus 85, R.G. Model 31. All guns must have standard factory panel grips, will not fit oversize or rubber grips.
