U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals - Mandatory registration is okay

Sage words.
Especially when he's describing shall we say the "mercurial" nature of politicians "strongly held beliefs"? For pol's, only the symbolic gallows of election day, doth concentrate their mind.
What is it I was told once? Oh yeah, now I remember!
"When you got 'em by the orbs, their hearts and minds will follow".

Yes, some few hold strong views, I think N. Pelosi does for example, and I am beginning to think that the POTUS has very strong views, unusual in a Dem President, look at our Bill for example.

The vast number are Arlen Specters (D)(RINO)(S)(R[almost])(D) the (S) is for his strange belief that Scotts Law is germane to our system.

Big cities are strange animals the culture is complicated. In Chicago the law abiding citizen would be much better off armed, only the criminal element profits by the current system. The Cook County Regular Democrat Party (the Chicago political machine) would switch to pro-gun in a moment if the majority of the voters switched. You would find the current Mr. Daley the mayor riding his bicycle in the park with a 1911 tucked in his shorts to get votes.

So it comes down to the hearts and minds of the great unwashed. Can we interest enough people in self-defense?
The old hunting tradition that was around me when I grew up is now I fear a minority and shrinking.
