So I just had to have a SAA and couldn't afford the Colt so...I got the Uberti El Patron. Finish was spectacular color case hardened) and the action was smooth as butter but... POI was four inches right and two inches low. I thought "Im not used to revolvers, let alone ones with sights from 1873 so I'll give her another chance". Both me and a friend shot four inches right and two low. I gave it a long look and discovered the barrel must have been over tightened or the slot for the front sight was cut poorly becuse the sight was canted significantly to the left. I sent it back after adjusting the sight off the end of the barrel and they put it back on...just like it was before it came off. The LGS I bought it from offered to give an in store credit for the full amount or trade me even up for the new El Patron Belleza a stainless version with and engraved cylinder. I took the new one, this one shoots straight so for that I'm quite pleased but...The action is nowhere as smooth as the previous gun, can't win. So I took the new one apart and I don't think it has the Wolf springs its supposed to have so I ordered them and am hoping the action winds up like the other one. The finish on these guns it fantastic, why can't they get the whole thing right. Anyone have experience with Uberti?

I originally wanted the New Vaqiero but they quit making the version with the color case hardened frame. The used ones I found either had blemishes in the finish or they weren't 45Colt. Then I wind up with a stainless engraved one. I just hope it is better when the springs come in and get installed.
