Escaping CA to OR - soon!
I suppose I could start with an H&R 32 ACP or HK VP70, but why not swing for the fences -

It's actually about the simplest semi pistol I've handled. About five moving parts internally and pushing the lever on the side releases the tip up barrel. DA only trigger pull is pretty good.

Bit large for a 380 ACP but it's extremely reliable.

Other than the Dardick revolver I can't thing of a more ungainly psitol out there.

Ungainly maybe, ugly? Absolutely not!

For the record, I like the H&R 32 as well... Maybe I just have terrible aesthetic tastes.

Do you mean this H&R. If you do, it would seem that I do too.

Truth be known I like all the .32 caliber pistol rounds too. Maybe I'm just weird?

... Some are just better looking that other's !

Except for Glocks ... They Be Extremely Unattractive ... Homely ...
Lacking in Style ... Yeah .. you might call them ugly !

It's been around. Inside of my vest when I worked the hard road, in the pocket of my leather jacket when I rode motors, on my ankle here and there, rattling around in the door pocket of my truck......Works Good Lasts A Long Time!

Here's my "ugliest".

H&R "Sidekick" 22 LR, circa 1950-60ish.

This was my Dad's, and it's the handgun he taught me to shoot handguns with. In today's frenzy climate, worth maybe $300...

Priceless to me.

My ugliest gun is my MilSurp Romanian Tokarev TTC.

According to the seller, this was "meticulously reconditioned and refinished" yet it clearly has finish wear, scratches, and if you notice the big holes in the frame, that's where the safety lever fell out during its first routine field strip and cleaning.

I don't know if there is a good looking gun that fires that round.
The ČZ52 is my first gun, and my ugliest.

Oh, I don't actually think that the Tokarev TT-33 design is ugly, in fact it reminds me a lot of John M. Brownings older designs like the FN 1903 or Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless, it's my beat up Romania TTC that I think looks ugly.

Furthermore, I don't think that the CZ52 is ugly either, reminds me of a Walther PP, sort of. Nor do I think that 7.62x25 Tokarev is a bad cartridge, in fact I think it's better than more modern takes on the same basic concept like 5.7x28 FN, 4.6x30 HK, or even 7.5 FK, and I wish that Ruger would rechamber the Ruger-57 in 7.62x25 Tokarev.
