I’m interested in picking up a UPR-10 upper in 6.5CM. Uintah Precision said my lower needs to be a DPMS pattern.
Is the M&P 10 a DPMS pattern lower?

It has been said they are different from DPMS and will not interchange, yet I do not know more.

A Smith & Wesson M&P10 will not interchange with a DPMS. They will not interchange with anything else other than another S&W. I have a M&P 10 and a Spikes Tactical and they are not even close.
